We can't begin to imagine the amount of stress this dog dad was under during these moments. Dog parents will understand that our canine companions are part of the family, through and through. The thought of losing one of our pooches is equivalent to that of losing a close family member. The emotions this person is feeling are extremely valid and extremely raw. We are comforted by the fact that the reunion occurred, and what a reunion it was.
